First and foremost, I couldn't post for the last four days as I was unwell. Not that anyone is probably reading this —but hey, I'm feeling better now and ready to be consistent from here on.
TECHINCAL UPDATE:
HDFC:
As I mentioned earlier, HDFC had the potential for a strong bullish run if it
crossed its resistance level. True to the prediction, the stock successfully
broke through its resistance and surged by 3.33% within just three days.
It has now moved past its previous price band of 1,700 and is currently
trading around 1,800. After two consecutive days of a steep rise, the
stock experienced some sideways movement today, indicating possible
consolidation. Adding to the positive sentiment, global brokerage firm Goldman
Sachs has included HDFC in its list of top 10 domestic market picks. Their
confidence in the stock stems from the Reserve Bank of India's recent liquidity
measures, which are expected to drive deposit growth. Given HDFC's strong track
record of capturing market share, it is well-positioned to benefit from these
favorable conditions.
Bank of Baroda:
Bank of Baroda's stock has also crossed its resistance level of 214.25,
but I remain cautious about the sustainability of this upward movement. Despite
the breakout, the stock is still trading below its 200-day Exponential
Moving Average (EMA), keeping it in the shorting zone. A confirmed close
above the 200 EMA would be a more reliable indicator of a continued
bullish trend. Until then, maintaining a watchful approach is advisable for those
considering entry into this stock.
SBI:
Its price is currently trading at 764.00, reflecting a 1.15% decline, with the stock facing resistance near the 200-day EMA at 771.27. After breaking out of a downward channel, SBIN saw a short-term bullish rally, but the recent red candle and increased volume suggest profit booking. Key support lies at 745.10, while resistance at 817.50 remains a critical hurdle. A breakout above the EMA could signal further upside, while a dip below support may invite additional selling pressure. Investors should monitor volume trends and key levels for clearer market direction.

CD Rates Surge Above 8% as Smaller Banks Tackle Liquidity
Tightness
Amid liquidity
tightness in the banking system, smaller banks are offering CD rates above 8%
to attract funds. CSB Bank raised 100 crore at 8.5% for one-year CDs,
while Utkarsh Small Finance Bank issued three-month CDs at 8.05% for 50
crore. IndusInd Bank also secured 1,000 crore via CDs at 7.9%,
